District Administrators meet in Box Hill

In mid-April the LCAVD hosted the national District Administrators for one of their regular 6-monthly in-person meetings. Monthly videoconference meetings are also held. The DA’s appreciated the chance to get together face-to-face over 2 days to discuss relevant district and churchwide issues.

Early-comers met for dinner on Monday evening, with the whole group coming together from Tuesday morning, 14 April.  A short devotional each morning was led by Acting Bishop Brett Kennett.

At the dinner on Tuesday evening, the DA’s were able to properly farewell outgoing DA Russell Veerhuis (NSW-ACT) after 12 years’ service, and welcome the incoming NSW-ACT DA, Stephen Fogerty.  LLL Chair Karen Pienaar also joined the group ahead of her presentation on Wednesday morning, 15th.
