CLW 2025
Christian Life Week (CLW) Vic/Tas Camp “Bondfire 2025” was an unforgettable week filled with fun, faith, and fellowship. This year, we had 59 campers and 22 personnel/leaders gathered at Tandara Lutheran Camp in Halls Gap during the Winter school holidays, to share in community and grow together.
Our theme for this year was “Bondfire.” Throughout the week, campers explored this theme through studies in small groups, quiet times, worship, and activities.
The studies focused on building and strengthening our relationship with God and recognising that He desires a special bond with each of us. Together, we looked at how to maintain this relationship, remove idols, and how, through Jesus, we receive forgiveness. The week concluded with reflections on how we can continue to grow in faith beyond camp. Each camper received a bookmark as a reminder of these key lessons and their ongoing journey with God.
Beyond studies, the camp was filled with many memorable activities. Highlights included: worship under the stars at Brambuk, a trivia night, messy games with slime and water, dress-up dinner, a simulation game, a walk to town for ice cream, and a bonfire.
When asked about the best things about camp, here’s what campers and leaders shared:
- “Seeing the bond and growth in fellowship between everyone.”
- “Hearing God’s word and witnessing what He is doing in the lives of the campers.”
- “Learning about God and being with Christians our age.”
- “The fantastic environment.”
- “Meeting new people through the activities and games.”
- “I can’t decide—everything was fun!”
Overall, CLW Bondfire 2025 was a powerful week of connection with God, with friends, and with community.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce the return of Summer Camp in January 2026, open to high school-aged kids in Years 7–12. It will be held at Araluen Lutheran Camp in Anglesea.
