Lutheran Women of Victoria-Tasmania Retreat

It was with great joy and gratefulness that the LWV-T Ladies of North East Zone met at Wangaratta on 10^th July for our first retreat of the year.  Bible Study Leader Libby Jewson lead us in the study of three women of the Bible under the theme “Women of Strength”.

In addition to the warm and familiar fellowship, and meaningful singing, by Dwelling in the Word we were able to think deeply and apply the familiar Bible stories to our own lives.

Some reflections of ladies included:

     In-depth thoughts in scripture and inspiration from fellow attendees

    Well researched. Plenty of sharing time.  Spiritually nourishing

    Libby was warm, relaxed and engaging. Encouraged everyone to share.  Wonderful to be able to hear, as a whole group, others thoughts, stories, experiences. 

Sadly, our Tandara Retreat didn’t survive the COVID restrictions, but we are eagerly anticipating our next retreats on21^st August in Launceston followed by Araluen on 17^th-19^th September.
