Introducing the District Hospital Chaplain, Linda Day

We are glad to introduce our new Victorian District Hospital Chaplain, Linda Day.
Linda shares a little about herself:

The LCA Victorian District’s visiting Hospital Chaplain” was not a title I thought I would ever hold! But sometimes God has His own ideas!!
A quick history of Linda – started work life as chef, married, had 2 children (twins), widowed (twins were 1 year old), worked as disability support worker mostly in day centres, felt called to take chaplaincy into the disability sector so got trained and experienced as chaplain in aged care, and … Here I am! I feel both challenged and blessed to be in this role and ask for your prayers to be an effective asset to the work of our church.
