Pastor Allan Heppner

 

Allan began in the role of Pastor for Congregational Support in February 2006, after serving as Senior Pastor at St Paul's Box Hill for 16 years and St Matthew Hamilton New Zealand for 7 years. He is married to Debra and they have three teenaged daughters.

 

Allan has a particular interest in helping congregations to clarify their mission and to remain healthy and hospitable. Three key questions for congregations in clarifying their mission are Who are we? (Identity), What are we here for? (Purpose), and Who is our neighbour? (Context).

 

Allan is available to meet with pastors and congregations to reflect on their mission and ministry, and to clarify ways to implement their mission in their context into the future. He can be contacted at allan.heppner@vic.lca.org.au.
